There are 3 types of warranty services available. The Powertrain Advantage, Optima Used, and Optima New.

The Powertrain Advantage covers:
Engine:
Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head(s), Intake Manifold, Valve Covers. Internal lubricated parts including: crankshaft and main bearings, camshaft and bearings, connecting rods and bearings, timing chains(s) and gears, valve lifter and push rods, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs and retainers, valve guides, pistons, rings and pins, rocker arm assemblies, oil pump and timing belt.

Turbo/Supercharger:
Housing and all internal lubricated parts.

Transmission:
(Automatic or Standard) Transmission case/housing, all internal lubricated parts; troque converter, modulator value. Internal electronic engagement transmission component are covered if the Hi-Tech Component Coverage Option is selected..

Transaxle (FWD):
Housing and all internal lubricated parts.

Differential (RWD):
Pot housing and all internal lubricated parts.

4x4/AWD Transfer Case:
Transfer Case Housings and all internal lubricated parts excluding electrical items.

Secondary Differential:
Secondary Differential Pot Housings and all internal lubricated parts.

Trip Interruption Expense:
$50 per day to $150 per occurrence up to $500 over the term for lodging, meals, alternate transportation and telephone calls.

Roadside Assistance:
Gas Delivery, Battery Boost, Tire Change, Winching Service, all to a maximum of $50 per occurence to a maxmum of $250 over the term of the agreement, up to the first 12 months.

Seals and Gaskets:
All those used to contain fluids/lubricants within the parts covered under the plan and option(s) purchased.
